There will be a free pancake breakfast for veterans the morning of our Veterans Day assembly on November 11th, beginning at 7:00 AM in the Danville High School gymnasium lobby.

Throughout the month of November the HS/JH will be running a canned food drive. You can bring in canned food to first period classroom. We also accept money donations. $1 will count for 1 can of food. Winners will receive a breakfast party from Mr. Blum's 1st period class.

NHS is hosting a powderpuff football game on November 2nd. Girls in grades 9-12 who are interested in participating should sign up in the high school office. The entry fee is $5, and the money goes to benefit the Josie Lynne Kaylor Memorial Scholarship. The due date to sign up is Friday of next week.

HAUNTED HOUSE We will have our annual Haunted House at the High School again this year. Entry is located at Mrs. Owen's garage door, like in previous years. NEW this year--From 5:00-6:00 there is a "light scare" option for younger kids that won't be as scary as the regular haunted house. Children can walk through the dark halls, see the characters, and get an idea of what a haunted house looks like. Tickets are $1.00 during this hour. From 6:00-8:00 is our regular Haunted House. Tickets are $2.00 for this option.

IT'S ALMOST VARSITY SHOW TIME!! "Varsity Show" is the end-of-season indoor event that the Blue Devil Band puts on as an annual celebration of the success of the marching band season. Complete with spectacular lighting and effects, Varsity Show will feature the pregame show, all three halftime shows, recognition of seniors, and some fantastic dancing to make it an exciting way to end the season. Please spread the word and let's pack the auditorium full of Blue Devil Band supporters! GO BLUE!!

Come and support the Music Department's Fall Piano and Choir Concert on Tuesday, October 22, at 7:00 in the High School Auditorium. Danville Local Schools has incredible music talent, and we can't wait to share some of it with you on Tuesday!

Final Week all orders need to be placed by this Friday October 18th: Danville District Yearbook Group is holding a tumbler fundraiser to help raise money for the 2025 Yearbook printing cost.
