DONATIONS - Middle School Robotic Group Trip to WORLDS Competition - Dallas Texas
To travel to world competition, the team is trying to raise $12,000 - $15,000. Students will be traveling in the Danville School's SUV. We will be leaving on Monday, April 29th, and will arrive in Texas on Tuesday, April 30th. Students will begin competing on Wednesday, May 1st, and will conclude the competition on Friday, May 3rd. The trip will incur costs for lodging, fuel, registration, and other expenses.

A letter will be sent home on April 9th with all 7-12th grade students detailing the testing and 2 hour delay schedule. Please call the junior high/high school office if you have any further questions.

Danville Local School along with The Knox County Health Department will be presenting a PERSON IN CHARGE (PIC) CLASS. This class is a short version of food service training and is required for concession stands on school property supporting the students of Danville Local Schools.

Student Wellness and Success The Danville Local School district is coordinating its efforts with the Knox Public Health/Knox County Community Health Center and the Sanctuary Community Action of Eastern Knox County to provide support and engage students as well as their families in activities that promote student wellness and success. With the Student Success and Wellness funds made available to the school district by the state of Ohio the the organizations will collaborate to make available and sponsor the following services as needed: mental health services, community liaisons, physical health care services, mentoring programs, family engagement/support services and student services provided before or after the regularly scheduled school day or any time school is not in session.

Open Enrollment applications(via Final Forms) will be available to complete on April 1, 2024. If you live outside the district and your child(ren) would like attend Danville Local Schools for the 2024/25 school year, all open enrollment application must be completed by May 1, 2024.
