It’s like Christmas in the ag department today!! Back in October, we applied for a grant through the Ohio Forestry Association to get supplies to further our environmental science curriculum, and we got one! We serve a dual purpose with these activities: the kids learn life skills for various careers, AND they get REALLY excited to tell people about their fun labs. Through the grant, we were able to get new tree scale sticks, two new GPS units, 5 new clinometers AND a water quality test kit. These supplies are going to be used for activities in Ag, Food and Natural Resources (Ag 1), Greenhouse and Nursery Management, and A&E Capstone. Huge thank you to the Ohio Forestry Association for supporting our program!

Girls basketball senior night tonight (1/30) vs East Knox. 6:30 pm - JV 2 quarters. Senior night recognition between games. 7:30 pm - Varsity Game. We will also be recognizing our JH girl's team at halftime of the Varsity game.

Last Friday the American History and Government classes took a joint trip to the Ohio Supreme Court in Columbus to tour the building and learn a little more about the court and some of its cases. It was a really great day and enjoyable experience for all

This year during National FFA Week we’re going to have a farmer's breakfast on Monday, February 19 at 8:30 in the high school lobby. All farmers in the area are invited! These wonderful musicians participated in the Ohio Music Education Association Solo & Ensemble contest today! All students performed beautifully and received ratings of Superior, Excellent, and Good!
