Due to the start of our construction project, beginning October 10th at the JH/HS building, there will be no parking on the east side of the building, which faces the old intermediate building. This area is needed for staging construction equipment and supplies. The anticipated completion of this project is August 2025. There will continue to be two-way traffic on Serilda Street, but it will be detoured on the north end, taking traffic around the construction fence and between the intermediate building.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but we are confident this project will provide our students and staff with a safer and more accessible building for many years to come. Staff will continue to park in the Catholic Center lot, and students are encouraged to park in the areas adjacent to the building, as seen on the graphic.
If you have questions or concerns please contact me at 740 599-6116 ext. 3229.
Jason Snively - Superintendent

Earlier today, the administration of Danville Schools was notified by Danville SRO Chase Law that the Knox County Sheriff’s Office was involved in a potentially dangerous 911 call not far from our community. Due to the possibility of this threat reaching the area of our schools and community, the elementary and high school were placed on a Level 1 lockdown which restricted anyone from entering or leaving the buildings. Classes and activities continued as usual within the buildings. Once Knox County Deputies advised the situation was resolved, the Level 1 lockdown status was lifted. We thank you for your support and trust in this situation. Jason Snively -Superintendent Chase Law - SRO

After further information from the local authorities, Danville Schools are no longer on a lockdown.

Due to an active threat in the surrounding community, for the safety of all students, Danville Schools are on a level one lockdown. Meaning no one enters or exits the buildings until further notice. Other than that it is business as usual.

It’s that time of the year again, Danville FFA Fruit & Companion Sale! We have everything from fruit to BBQ sauce, so there is something for everyone.
